What more do you need during Pujo, than quality ‘chill’ time with your friends and loved ones. Add a movie to the list, or some puchka hogging! Wear comfy dresses with jackets, or a stylish, bright crop top with your denims. And what better than that eccentric blazer over your shirt and jeans for guys?
‘Shokal er anjali’ Morning Anjali!
Like clockwork you wake up super early on Pujo nights to attend the morning Anjajli, no matter how late you stayed up last night! You’re showered and dressed and rushing your family to make it to the nearest pandal and soon chanting those beautiful, soothing words of love and gratefulness for Durga Ma.
Wear some bright colored, embellished kurta with a stark dupatta that matches the flowers in your hand. Pair them with dangling jhumkas or hoop earrings and a pair of kadas.
Dhunuchi Nach
Oh, the image of this beautiful dance will never leave our minds! Flowing dresses, the haze of burning dhunuchi, the mesmerizing smell of it and the sound of dhak that you get hooked on to!
